About the role

Performs relatively routine tasks requiring general knowledge related to the work of the department and/or project team. This is an intermediate-level position in machine operating, utilizing basic skills learned previously and applying them with increasing independence while completing assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
• Meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively.
• Recognize the impact of variances to scope.
• Proficiently communicate ideas and concepts with the ability to persuade and influence others as needed.
• Give and receive constructive feedback and coaching, and respond appropriately.
• Work on project teams and assist in meeting critical timelines with the goal of streamlining processes and providing customer service.
• Demonstrate basic written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

• Ability to use technical tools and instruments required to perform duties.
• May operate CNC machine centers and/or grinders.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and technical documentation.
• Routinely make decisions involving some judgment to determine a course of action consistent with established functional policies and goals.
• Utilize intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Identify deviations from standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Generally 2+ years of experience in the field.
