Machine Operator

Primary Responsibilities

• Ability to set up equipment
• Maintain strong attention to detail (visual inspections)
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
• Minimize downtime by troubleshooting equipment
• Ensure consistent machine operation by completing preventative maintenance as required
• Maintain production and quality by inspecting random production samples
• Problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
• Change directions as needed
• Develop new skills and enjoy a challenge
• Represent a strong business acumen
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education / Experience

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Some experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Communication Skills / Requirements

• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with management, peers and other employees.
• Have active listening skills, attention to detail and follow-through.
• Must demonstrate tact, professionalism, teamwork, flexibility, an organized approach to work and a positive attitude.

Safety

• All duties to be performed in compliance with the company guidelines and safety policies.
• PPE: MUST wear hearing protection and safety glasses in designated areas.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
