Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Properly operate the extrusion/thermoforming line.
• Have knowledge of plant processing equipment and possess problem-solving skills.
• Set up, start up, operate, and shut down all production equipment.
• Record and share information with other team members to maintain quality and machine efficiency.
• Perform quality audits.
• Relieve inspectors/packers.
• Cookline line requirements with other departments (Maintenance, Material Handling, and QA).
• Proficient in all paperwork.

Requirements

• Experience as a skilled manufacturing operator for 2 years.
• Manufacturing experience for 2 years.
• Understanding of manufacturing and quality control.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Data entry skills.
• Proficiency in performing repetitive duties, including stairs and standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit, reach, and bend.
• Ability to push/pull and handle product.
• Ability to work in conditions that may include heat, humidity, and production noise.

$21.37 - $22.29 based on experience
