About the role
If you’ve worked with machines, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in quality, we’ll train you to run high-speed bindery equipment.
Schedule
1st shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, with potential for overtime hours.
Responsibilities
- Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders).
- Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
- Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
- Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
- Take pride in doing quality work.
- Show up reliably and work well with a team.
Qualifications (preferred)
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience.
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment.
Physical & Work Environment
- Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.
- Safety toe shoes and hearing protection required.
- On your feet for most of the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50 lbs.
