*Machine Operator

About the role

As an Electronic Machine Operator, you will set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic machines for operation.
• Use specialty machinery, such as feeding raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines.
• Check parts for precision using measuring tools and output for flaws.
• Keep records of approved and defective units and maintain activity logs.
• Work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks.
• Check and inspect operations against predetermined tolerances.
• Follow all company safety and ESD program requirements.
• Report all accidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
• Properly handle and dispose of all waste, including hazardous wastes, as directed by applicable SOP(s).

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of related experience.
• Experience in an electronic manufacturing environment is a plus.
