Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Automatic and Semi-Automatic machines for operation.
• Use specialty machinery, such as feeding raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines.
• Check parts for precision using measuring tools, and output for flaws.
• Keep records of approved and defective units, and maintain activity logs.
• Work from process sheets or written instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks.
• Check and inspect operations against predetermined tolerances.
• Follow all Company Safety and ESD Program requirements.
• Report all accidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
• Properly handle and dispose of all waste, including hazardous wastes, as directed by applicable SOPs.

Requirements

• Experience as a Machine Operator mandatory.
• High School or GED.
• Six months minimum experience in contract manufacturing.
