Responsibilities
- Perform grinding of point geometries to steel tubing and/or wire as required by customer and NSP requirements.
- Set and adjust machine controls according to product specifications.
- Start and observe machine operation for conformity to specifications.
- Buff or polish machine tools and position and mount tools to machine, chuck, or jig using hand tools.
- Read work orders to determine parts to be buffed or polished.
- Remove work pieces and examine finishes to ensure they meet specifications.
- Repair machine parts to maintain machine in operational condition.
