Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Selects, installs, and adjusts saw blades, cutter heads, boring bits, and other devices in respective machines.
• Reads and interprets drawings, cut lists, schematics to verify machine settings and materials match component specifications.
• Starts machine and makes trial cut.
• Verifies dimensions of parts for adherence to specifications.
• Operates computer system and machine programming.

Requirements

• 6 months to 3 years of experience operating machinery.
• Detail-oriented and safety-focused.

Pay & Schedule

• Starting Pay: $15–$17/hour (based on experience).
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Some Saturdays and overtime as needed.
