What You’ll Do As a Machine Operator I

• Operating low-complexity machinery following standard instructions, ensuring proper setup to produce product according to quality standards
• Conduct initial quality checks under close supervision, inspecting finished products for dimensional accuracy, integrity and compliance with aerospace specifications
• Report any issues or deviations to leads or supervisors, such as machine malfunctions, material defects, or non-conforming parts, providing clear observations for resolution
• Assist in loading and unloading raw materials into machines, verifying quantities and types against documentation under close oversight
• Clean and maintain equipment and report any issues that arise to a lead or supervisor
• Utilize basic computers skills to enter data into production systems and access work orders as guided by supervisors
• Maintain an organized work area by keeping aisles clear, properly storing materials, and adhering to safety and organizational standards
• Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions
• Follow safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training to prevent workplace hazards

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. Previous experience in machine operations is preferred
• Eager to learn and follow instructions with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a structured environment
• Basic verbal skills to report issues and follow directives
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and assembly procedures under supervision

Special Requirements

• U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required
• ITAR Requirement 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements
