We are looking to hire a Machine Operator to be based in our Orange, Virginia location. We are hiring for second shift (3p-11p) and third shift (11p-7a).

About the role

Come join a great team in The Cable Department Center of Excellence and work together to achieve optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Operates conventional and CNC production machines such as winders, milling machines, drill presses, broaches, lathes, saws, grinders, welders, etc.
• Sand, deburr, etc. as necessary to properly complete the machining operation with the quality required.
• Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements and machining techniques.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
• A solid understanding of CNC programming and machining techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of machining experience.
• Welding knowledge.
• Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
