Machine Operator

About the role

The Dixon Group is seeking a Machine Operator to join their Boss Division in Chestertown, MD. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on production work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and thrive in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load, and operate production equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Identify, isolate, and report defective parts
• Conduct basic troubleshooting to support continuous production
• Accurately record production data
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Basic mechanical aptitude, such as experience with: Routine vehicle maintenance, Hydraulic equipment, Small engine repair
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
• Commitment to safety protocols
• Solid time management and reliability
• Observant, proactive, and accountable

Pay

$18-$22 per hour

Schedule

6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday
