Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the overall process including but not limited to product quality, temperature, weight, waste/down time, and any deviations that occur.
  • Verify visually product quality, lot code, and settings are present and accurate, etc.
  • Ensures the traceability of the material by completing all traceability paperwork, and check lists.
  • Report ALL quality and safety concerns to reporting manager or member of management team not limited but including unknown visitors, pest control, expiration or production quality in question, sanitation, etc.
  • Machine Operators shall be flexible in ability and assist as required.

Requirements

  • Education: High school/GED diploma is required.
  • Experience: One year of experience in production or food manufacturing.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in production processes. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment, maintaining efficiency under time constraints. Proficient in basic math (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication) for data recording. Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors. Basic understanding of production processes or willingness to learn technical skills related to food manufacturing. Strong verbal and written communication skills; maintain strong communication with other areas and departments. Ability to read, understand, and follow basic English instructions, work orders, safety procedures, quality standards, production documentation, and machine operating guidelines. Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding safety, quality, production issues, and daily work activities.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand in place for extended periods of time, walk, sit, bend, kneel, climb, and stoop for extended periods, lift/carry/move heavy objects-(up to 50 lbs.), use hands to handle, control or feel objects, see (vision-distance) details of objects, hear sounds for different recognition, make quick precise adjustments (machinery), use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble, react quickly using hands, fingers, or feet, perform appropriate hand sanitation requirements, work with chemicals, use designated personal protective equipment required and defined by task, work around mechanized equipment safely adhering to all safety guidelines associated with moving parts, work around known food allergens, work in fluctuating noise level environments, follow designated pedestrian walkways, safely interact around industrial truck traffic, follow all personal protective equipment requirements, follow all good manufacturing practice standards, interact in areas with ingredients classified as “allergen”.
