Responsibilities

• Overall line responsibility from production to packaging
• Ensure goods are produced and packaged in correct quantity and in accordance with agreed specifications
• Accurately record goods produced and problems encountered during shift
• Follow all established quality processes and inspection methods to ensure product quality and promptly escalate any concerns
• Perform line clearance
• Complete autonomous maintenance checklists
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment
• Build, load, and make boxes
• Load labels and guarantee the accuracy of applied labels
• Perform autonomous maintenance
• Weigh scrap and label correctly
• Wrap finished product
• Operate up to 5 production lines simultaneously
• Assist Machine Operator II/Supervisor and Mold Change Team with mold/color changes as needed
• Ensure team works together as efficiently as possible
• Maintain good housekeeping within the department

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Technical Background in Plastics Industry preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated mechanical ability
