Machine Operator Apprentice

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator Apprentice to assist experienced Machine Operators. You will help with the setup, operation, and maintenance of production machinery. The ideal candidate is interested in learning about the manufacturing process and eager to gain practical experience with machinery operations. During the 90-day training window, the apprentice is expected to learn the full functions of the machine operators and exhibit the necessary skills to run the production line independently afterward.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and operating various types of machinery according to company procedures and safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure machinery is in good working order, assist in troubleshooting malfunctions, and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Observe experienced machine operators to gain knowledge and improve skills.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to company and regulatory safety guidelines.
• Accurately record machine operation data and report any issues or irregularities to the supervisor.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure output meets company standards.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials onto the machines.
• Follow all training and instructions related to machine operation, safety protocols, and company policies.
