Machine Operator - All Shifts Available

Responsibilities

  • Prepare equipment and materials for production
  • Operate equipment in accordance with the OP Manual, inputting materials, and monitoring defects/loss for continuous operation
  • Conduct self-inspection of the product and check the quality
  • Maintain accurate records of production work in GMES (Global Manufacturing Execution System)
  • Track all non-conformations and scraps
  • Comply with health/safety/environmental/fire regulations
  • Perform 5s audits, maintain production logs, quality checks and maintenance work logs
  • Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards
  • Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred
  • Experience: 1 to 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Communication skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Basic arithmetic ability
  • Reading and writing skills
  • Ability to work well with individuals and teams to ensure the team meets & exceeds expectations
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours
  • Safety glasses
  • Steel-toed shoes
  • Nitrile gloves
  • Ear protection
  • Clean room suit
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stoop, twist, bend, reach overhead, sit and/or stand, use of hands and fingers to perform job function

Pay

We're thrilled to announce an exciting update for machine operator positions: starting pay has been increased to $21 per hour!

Schedule

Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd (10% Shift Premium), 3rd (6% Shift Premium), Rotating 12-Hour Days, Rotating 12-Hour Nights (10% Shift Premium)

About the Role

Summary: As a Technical Operator I, you will be operating the assigned process/equipment in accordance with the work instructions. You will help support production volumes and quality under the production plan while using equipment and computerized systems to produce, assemble, evaluate, process and package lithium-ion batteries in a climate-controlled environment.
