Machine Operator 3rd shift

About the role

Doumak, Inc., founded in 1921, is a leading producer of marshmallows under the Campfire® and Fireside® brands, and for private label. Our Bensenville, IL facility offers full-time positions starting at $18.00 hourly rate, with increases after one, two, three, and four years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the packaging machine to produce a quality bag that meets the correct film, code, weight, and product.
• Ensure the case packer is presented with a bag that will be packed properly in the correct case.
• Auxiliary tasks including change-overs, clean-ups, and general maintenance of the pack room.

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Read and write English and understand basic math
• Able to regularly lift 40 pounds
• Work experience in food manufacturing environment, confectionary preferred

Qualifications

We will train the right person. Weekend work may be required (overtime and double time pay will apply).

Schedule

• 3rd Shift (10:00 pm to 6:00 am) - Sunday thru Thursday
• 2nd Shift (02:00 pm to 10:00 pm) - Monday thru Friday
