About the role
Safely operates and maintains Filler Machine to fill and package drink pouches in the Capri Sun department.
Responsibilities
- Work with all departments to meet or surpass the plant’s safety goals; participate on a Safety Team as co-leader or member.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Dress Code.
- Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
- Start up, operate, and shut down filling, cooling, sealing, straw placing, carton forming, carton filling and sealing equipment, Video Jet coder, and conveying systems; perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Monitor mechanical operation, unjam machines, troubleshoot, and notify technicians or Coordinators of issues; know emergency stops and filler components.
- Monitor quality issues and perform checks on pouch code legibility, weights, temperatures, seal integrity, straws, sanitation checkpoints, and daily preventive maintenance (PM).
- Understand quality PH swabs, HACCP program, and PM work orders.
- Communicate with Filler Utility to ensure adequate and accurate packaging materials are available.
- Maintain good housekeeping; perform mini cleans, CIPs, interdictives, product pushes, and hot flushes.
- Provide input for team development and participate in Green Room process improvement meetings; occasionally stay for second-level Green Room meetings.
- Operate Hertzler (weight) program and OEE downtime program efficiently on a computer.
- Know filler utility responsibilities to assist as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including accountability for QRMP standards as outlined in the Winchester Kraft Heinz QRMP accountability document.
Requirements
- Understand and follow company and site policies on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hold Tags, HACCP, USDA, Foreign Objects, Safety, and Security.

Working Conditions
- Occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather, extreme cold, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
- Frequently required to wear company-issued safety and GMP equipment, including steel-toe slip-resistant shoes, hearing protection, bump cap, and other personal protective equipment.
Pay
$22.00 per hour (no experience required).
