About the role
The machine operator will operate and troubleshoot machinery to ensure efficient production at our prefab location.
Responsibilities
- Daily Maintenance: Perform pre-checks and routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record key information related to the parts being processed, including performance metrics and adjustments.
- Machine Operation: Learn and thoroughly understand machine operations and make necessary adjustments during your shift to maintain parts within specified tolerances.
- Quality Control: Monitor the production process to ensure products meet quality standards and make real-time adjustments as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a machine operator is a plus.
- Forklift Experience: Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong ability to learn and operate machinery with attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and maintain production quality.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team and work a set schedule.
- Must be willing to join the carpenters’ union
Qualifications
- Schedule/Location: Schedule: Monday- Thursday 3:00 pm – 1:30 am, with option for overtime
