Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
We are looking for an experienced Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Your expertise in metal stamping and attention to detail will directly contribute to our commitment of excellence to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload metal material into press or laser bed
- Position, align, and secure material against fixtures or stops
- Evaluate part quality using check aids and/or visual inspection
- Ensure proper tagging of finished parts for correct routing and counts
- Keep accurate part and scrap counts, record on data collection system at end of job or shift
- Follow safety rules and ISO requirements
- Maintain a clean work area
Requirements
- Able to communicate in English
- Able to read, count and write
- Visual acuity to inspect highly cosmetic parts
- Prompt, reliable attendance required
Physical Demands
- Ability to lift up to 35 LBS, lift twist, grab, stand (up to 8 to 10 hours), walk, push, pull
- Use both hands to lift and lower materials
- Perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
