Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

This Machine Operator position is located in Santa Ana, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform trim and deburr on speed lathes using hand tools.
• Install bearings into a housing using dedicated tools and fixtures for assembly.
• Operate the hone machine to size the inner diameter of parts.
• Perform load/unload operations and check size on CNC lathes.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per P.M. charts.
• Carry out tasks including milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, swaging, bench operations, and inspection.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0‑3 years of factory‑related experience.
• Training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage awareness, and quality system awareness.

Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to present information effectively one‑on‑one.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or have refugee/asylee status due to ITAR and EAR compliance.
• Work primarily indoors in office and manufacturing areas; occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Noise level moderate or loud.
• Regularly required to sit and talk or hear; frequently use hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to stand and walk.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Close vision required.

Pay

Pay Range: $20 to $22/hour (California only).
