About the Role

Work in a clean, safe, temperature-controlled plant and enjoy 3-day weekends. Machine Operators play an integral role in ensuring our machines run at optimum capacity, assisting in observing safe and efficient operations of equipment. This position is supported by Manufacturing Line Leads, Spider, Production Supervisors, and Management. We are committed to your success.

Responsibilities

  • Balances team and individual responsibilities; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit.

  • Uses time efficiently; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.

  • Observes safety and security procedures; uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality; follows instructions and responds to management direction.
  • Takes responsibility for own actions; asks for and offers help when needed.

Requirements

  • 6 months’ experience in a highly physical, labor-intensive position (e.g., construction, distribution warehouse, equipment/machine operator, farmhand, freight handler, or other positions requiring continuous activity and lifting).
  • Proficient in basic math and reading skills.
  • Must be able to work a full-time schedule, including some overtime as required.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must pass a post-offer drug test and background check.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand on concrete floors with fatigue mats for 8 to 12 hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 400 pounds (181 kilograms) or equivalent using a manual cart.
  • Able to frequently grasp objects.
  • Must possess sufficient visual and audio acuity to work safely and accurately in an industrial environment.

Pay

This position starts at $17.00/hour + $1.00/hour shift differential.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 4:30 PM – 2:30 AM.
