Machine Operator Alliance Printing – Dalton, GA Monday - Thursday 3:30pm - 2:30am Alliance Printing is seeking a skilled and dependable Machine Operator to join our team in Dalton, GA. This role is ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic, looking to contribute to a high-quality manufacturing operation. You’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting the Emmeci machine used in the production of turned-edge binders and boards. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality are essential. Responsibilities: Set up and operate the Emmeci machine to produce turned-edge binders and boards. Select and install the proper tools and fixtures for each production run. Align and secure workpieces and feeding devices for accurate and efficient production. Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain product quality. Use measuring instruments such as gauges and calipers to ensure specifications are met. Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues to minimize downtime. Perform regular calibration and machine control adjustments (speed, temperature, pressure). Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Solid understanding of mechanical systems and machine operations. Experience using precision measuring tools. Ability to interpret and meet production specifications and quality standards. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Issues and concerns need to be communicated to supervisor. Physical Requirements: Lifting: Occasionally raises objects from a lower to a higher position or moves objects horizontally from position-to position. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs.Push/Pull: Occasionally uses upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs.Reaching: Extends hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs.Stooping: Bends body downward and forward at the waist. Weight is usually less than 50 lbs.Standing: Standing for moderate levels of time. Infrequently more than 30 minutes at a time.Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. In frequently more than 30 minutes at a time.Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
