Machine Operator - 2nd shift

About the role

High Steel Service Center is seeking a Multi-Cut Blanking Line Machine Operator for their 2nd shift position in Lancaster, PA.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-cut blanking line machines to produce precision-cut steel products.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
• Handle material handling equipment such as overhead cranes, side loaders, and forklifts.
• Keep accurate inventory records using computer systems.
• Perform light data entry tasks as necessary.
• May be required to work overtime on Fridays and occasionally on Saturdays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent math, measurement, and recordkeeping skills.
• Knowledge of coil processing is preferred but not required.

Pay

Starting salary at least $22/hr, with a $3/hr shift differential.

Schedule

Four (4) 10-hour days: Monday - Thursday from 3:00 pm - 1:30 am.

Flexible schedule and availability to train on 1st shift for 3-6 months before transitioning to 2nd shift is required.
