Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Main Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment assigned to their area, including enrobers, shrink or flow wrappers, cutting equipment, melters, and tempering machines.
• Follow appropriate SOPPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and equipment specific procedures.
• Record production details including line rates, downtime, quality tests, and total production.
• Ensure lines are supplied with necessary and appropriate raw and packaging materials for each SKU.
• Changeover lines in required time frames with line associates.
• Follow established sanitary production guidelines.
• Transport waste, rework and trash to the appropriate areas with line associates.
• Assure regular and timely attendance per company guidelines.
• Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems.

About You

• Understanding of basic math, reading level to understand machinery diagrams and technical instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, kneel, walk, stand for extended periods, manipulate various hand and power tools.
• Ability to pass company training and certification programs with respect to machine operation, and food safety.
• Basic computer skills for inventory control purposes.

Pay

The pay for this position is $21.00 per hour.

Schedule

Main shift is 1st Shift, and the Machine Operator - 2nd Shift is currently being reviewed.
