Machine Operator - 2nd shift - $18.50

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity at our Spartanburg facility for an entry-level or experienced Production Team Member who is excited about taking Motus to the next level. Responsibilities

• Follow all procedures and documentation requirements as dictated
• Use hand tools and maintain mechanical aptitude
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to all 5S and PPE requirements
• Visually monitor housekeeping and plant organization
• Monitor and address safety & environmental concerns on the shop floor
• Monitor quality issues toward the goal of zero defects
• Be trained to operate and make adjustments to the operation process
• Work safely and direct others in safe work practices
• Quickly identify equipment issues and involve support such as the Maintenance Team when warranted
• Direct and monitor execution of the production schedule
• Be trained to inspect parts and perform process troubleshooting
• Participate in the Continuous Improvement suggestion program
• Utilize the escalation process when necessary
• Perform daily first piece and process inspections
• Maintain and ensure compliance with Motus Quality Management System
• Maintain and ensure customer specifications are met
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist supervisor or management as directed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous working experience in a manufacturing production facility preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
• Ability to occasionally lift a maximum of 30 lbs
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts, 1:45 pm – 10:15 pm, Monday through Friday
• Occasional Saturdays

Pay

• $17.50 per hour plus a $1 shift premium
