Responsibilities

  • Operate and shape materials by using machines to cut, punch, bend, weld, or form components to meet production demands.
  • Prepare and set up machines, confirming specifications using drawings, blueprints, tablets, or other tools.
  • Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts.
  • Ensure quality by utilizing measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
  • Maintain and organize material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping standards (e.g., 5-S practices).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
