Responsibilities
- Operate a stamping press and auxiliary equipment with manual and automated packaging processes
- Meet and/or exceed daily production goals
- Report all machine malfunctions to mechanics or supervisors
- Assist mechanics whenever required to keep press/packaging equipment operational
- Correctly feed slit ribbon material into the stamping dies and perform first piece inspection
- Manually pack metal connectors and/or steel components into packaging containers
- Strive to keep product waste to a minimum; inspect finished products and mark steel lot numbers on shipping containers
- Monitor production equipment coolant and oil levels and adjust accordingly
- Perform ongoing inspection of products being produced to internal quality standards
- Complete quality and production paperwork in its entirety throughout assigned shift
- Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty, including the ability to work overtime as required
Requirements
- High School/GED preferred
- Up to 1 year related experience and/or training preferred
- Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year-for-year basis
- Able to perform mathematical skills such as calculating proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and apply concepts of basic geometry
- Ability to read and understand prints and schematics
- Ability to use small hand-power tools, including reading a tape measure with 1/32-inch increments
- Able to use Microsoft Office Applications

Pay
$20.00/hr to $24.00/hr, based on knowledge and experience
