Machine Operator - 1st Shift

About the role

As a member of the Production team, the Machine Operator will be responsible for keeping the machines in constant operation at our Pine Grove plant (Guilford Textiles). First shift: 7 AM – 7 PM.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the fronts and backs of assigned machines to ensure there are no productivity and quality issues
• Thread fabric into the frame machine
• Operate the frame machine and visually monitor the fabric
• Review dye order and enter information into computer
• Reroll, inspect, and monitor the fabric for defects
• Mark, cut out, and record defects as necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
