About the role

HuFriedyGroup is a leading manufacturer of dental instruments and infection prevention products, known for precision, performance, longevity, reliability, and quality. As a Machine Operator, you will have overall responsibility for setting up, adjusting, and operating a variety of production machinery to produce high-quality finished products, with moderate assistance and oversight from team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with all company and department-related safety practices, including wearing required PPE, following machine safety protocols, and safely lifting a maximum of 30 lbs. Immediately notify site leadership of unsafe conditions.
  • Adhere to documented procedures and quality practices, self-monitor work quality, and notify leadership if quality standards cannot be met or maintained. Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Work flexible hours, including overtime, to meet customer commitments.
  • Meet established labor and machine standards to control costs.
  • Read and apply instructions from Work Instructions, Drawings, Machine Manuals, and Inspection Checklists during product manufacturing.
  • Maintain 6S practices at your workstation and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and quality.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated skills working safely with mechanical equipment.
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the flexographic or paper conversion industry.
  • Lean experience is a plus.
  • Ability to physically lift, push, pull, or carry products weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a standing position with repetitive hand movements for eight to twelve hours.

Qualifications

HuFriedyGroup values skills and experience from all backgrounds. A college degree or high school diploma is not required for this role.
