Machine Operator - 1st Shift
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the Amada EML CNC Laser machine for fabrication production.
- Set up tooling, perform changeovers, and load materials ensuring proper alignment and accuracy.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to ensure parts are produced to specification.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards according to blueprint requirements.
- Troubleshoot machine and production issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic machine upkeep to support optimal equipment performance.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished parts to ensure compliance with customer and company standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to improve processes, efficiency, and product quality.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures and regulations.
- Support production goals and assist with other duties as assigned.

- Ability to set up machines for production fabrication and troubleshoot.
- Knowledge and ability to use dial/digital calipers to measure and hold geometric tolerances.
- Communicate to Supervisor/programmers effectively to resolve issues.
Education And/or Experience
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment
- Physical Demands:
- Wear safety attire and protective gear on a daily basis.
- Usually work indoors.
- This site may not be temperature controlled.
- Often exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
- Exposed to hazardous equipment on a weekly basis.
- May be exposed to contaminants.
- May share workspace with others.
