Machine Operator $17.00/hr. + $1.00/hr. Shift Differential + 7% quarterly incentive - 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 12:00am)

2nd Shift (3:30pm - 12:00am) based out of Kokomo, IN. Reporting to the Production Supervisor.

About the role

Operate machines to cut, bend, swage, or punch materials following customer specifications and packaging requirements. Set up skids, racks, and hex bundles; perform banding and packaging; and conduct quality checks on OD, gauge, length, and packaging.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED equivalent
• One year of manufacturing experience is preferred
• Strong math skills
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing machines
• Ability to distinguish various cosmetic flaws
• Lean concept sustainment and problem-solving skills
• Safety action oriented
• Ability to give verbal instruction, build positive relationships, and demonstrate good organizational skills
• Flexibility of shift schedule including overtime and weekends
• Outgoing positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic

Pay

$17.00/hr. plus $1.00/hr. shift differential and a 7% quarterly incentive. Placement in the range depends on competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business needs. Other compensation may include overtime, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
