Machine Operator 1 - 1st Shift

As a Machine Operator I, you’ll be at the heart of producing high-quality weather stripping and specialty products that our customers rely on. In this fast-paced, team-oriented environment, you’ll operate essential equipment, collaborate closely with technicians and supervisors, and play a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety work practices as outlined in standard work procedures and supports plant or departmental safety initiatives.
• Performs all quality inspections in accordance with standard work instructions, ensuring product is within specification tolerances.
• Completes inspection audit sheet or charting requirements and informs technician of quality issues on the production line.
• Follows standard work for light priorities, sets up and recalibrates production equipment according to GMPs and SOPs.
• Notifies area technician of issues with the production lines to ensure prompt resolution.
• Replenishes raw material supply on machines and removes finished product.
• Makes minor adjustments to machines and performs minor repairs.
• Records time and reason machine is out of operation, when the machine is back online, repairs needed, and amount and reason for scrap.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay

Salary Range: $18-$21
