Machine Operations Support
Description
The Opportunity involves keeping production machines well stocked with all necessary supplies and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and promptly. Key Responsibilities include counting labeled cartons, inspecting for quality, maintaining an adequate supply of materials, performing general housekeeping, delivering orders, assisting operators, and learning operator duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 3-6 months’ work experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to count and measure accurately
- Ability to perform basic and intermediate arithmetic
- Knowledge of or ability to learn safety rules and procedures
- Ability to perform routine duties with minimal supervision
- Pass basic reading test
- Ability to relate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
- Able to maintain good attendance
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Qualifications
Must pass a basic reading test.
Skills
Basic arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Intermediate arithmetic skills involving decimals, fractions, ratios, etc. Knowledge of safety rules and procedures, operating, maintenance, and technical policies and procedures. Ability to perform routine duties with minimal supervision. Ability to relate effectively with others at all levels of the organization. Ability to maintain good attendance. Ability to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
