Machine Maintenance Technician - 3rd shift

Responsibilities
- Plan and perform advanced machinery repair
- Install and align new machining equipment
- Recommend improvements and changes for increased quality or efficiency
- Perform preventative maintenance per schedule
- Work independently on projects of moderate complexity
- Train Machine Maintenance Tech I
- Accurately record and report hours worked
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
- Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
- Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
- Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
- Participate in required company meetings
- Maintain an organized work area (5S)
- Participate in the Operational Excellence Program
- Complete all other work duties as assigned
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Requirements
- 5 years of advanced level of machine maintenance experience
- Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Intermittent exposure to safe levels of cleaning solutions, solvents, and solder (lead) fumes
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to occasionally lift 10-50lbs and to stand, bend, and stoop
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, around machinery that may be exposed to and around oils & solvents
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask

Physical & Environmental Demands
Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.
Pay
USD $25.14 - USD $33.89 per hour. This pay range reflects the base hourly rate for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
Schedule
3rd shift: 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, Sunday - Thursday
