Responsibilities Review and monitor Kronos. Check on Machine Maintenance machinery status (i.e. running or down). Consult Group Leaders on projects. Review daily efficiency reports and consult with Group Leaders on daily efficiencies and downtime. Work on problem Machine Maintenance machines and equipment. Work on special projects. Address personnel problems. Troubleshoot and repair Machine Maintenance machinery and equipment. Responsible for ensuring all standards of ISO and SQF are being met. Responsible for the day-to-day activities in the Machine Maintenance department. Training Training for this position requires a thorough knowledge of the above responsibilities. Training will be provided by qualified personnel who have an understanding of this position. Qualifications Good leadership, organizational and communication skills. Knowledge on Machine Maintenance machinery and equipment. Troubleshooting skills. Dependable and motivated. Good past work experience. High school diploma / GED Equivalent. Hearing sufficient to recognize and respond to shouted warnings, alarms and horns on fork trucks. Verbal communication adequate to use a radio and or paging system to contact other coworkers in other areas of the complex. Stereoscopic vision of 20/40 or better and peripheral vision of 70 degrees or greater and ability to read 10–12-point font at a distance of 12-18 inches. Able to complete an "Ishihara color vision test". Able to work at heights. Must not be at risk of sudden alterations in consciousness.
