Machine Maintenance - 3rd Shift

Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment to ensure optimal operation. They disassemble machines, replace broken parts, and adjust components as needed, while also cleaning, lubricating, and ordering parts for repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for resolving complex equipment issues
• Adapt procedures and tools to meet specific needs
• Inspect completed repairs to ensure equipment meets specifications
• Follow diagrams, schematics, and manuals to perform repairs and maintenance accurately

Key Duties

• Maintain machinery through routine inspections, troubleshooting, disassembly, repair, and adjustment to ensure equipment functions efficiently
• Adapt techniques and resources to meet specific needs
• Serve as a resource for complex problem resolution

Qualifications & Skills

• Must be 18+ years of age
• At least 2 years of machine maintenance experience
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Knowledge of machine tools
• Basic electrical/electronic repair skills
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience
• Preferred: Good communication, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude
