Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and implement predictive models using machine learning algorithms such as Bayesian, XGBoost, and Prophet.
  • Utilize tools such as Google Meridian, Agentic, and FastAPI for data processing and model implementation.
  • Conduct geo-experiments, holdouts, and backtesting to validate the performance and reliability of predictive models and machine learning solutions.
  • Work with large and complex data sets, solving difficult, non-routine analysis problems by applying advanced analytical methods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • Design and build data pipelines using SQL, Cloud Run, and Cloud SQL.
  • Build and maintain a robust data architecture that supports our machine learning efforts.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field and introduce new technologies and methodologies to the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in using predictive modeling, data processing, and data analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn).
  • Strong knowledge in Google Meridian, MMM, Agentic, XGBoost, Prophet, FastAPI, Postgres, geo-experiments, holdouts, backtesting, SQL, Cloud run, and Cloud SQL.
  • Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms, processes, tools and platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
