Machine Learning Engineer II , AGI Customization

About the role

The Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team is looking for a passionate, talented, and inventive Software Development Engineer with a strong machine learning background, to build customization capabilities such as fine tuning, distillation, model evaluation, prompt optimization, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of novel LLM training techniques and optimizations to advance the state of LLMs
• Collaborate closely with Applied Scientists and leverage Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate development of multimodal Large Language Models and Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Pay

• Base salary range: $143,700.00 - $194,400.00 annually
