About The Role As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Striveworks, you will play a vital role in shaping and leading the company’s AI initiatives. You will be entrusted from day one to contribute technically and serve as a customer-facing leader, guiding projects from conception to delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include designing AI-powered solutions, managing data ingestion and processing pipelines, developing analytics, and deploying models that meet critical operational needs. You will collaborate closely with customers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand their requirements, translate them into technical strategies, and oversee the execution to ensure timely delivery aligned with business value. Your expertise will guide the development of advanced machine learning models across various data types such as images, videos, text, geospatial data, and time series. Additionally, you will be involved in improving internal practices, capturing reusable functionalities, and accelerating the delivery of impactful solutions. This role offers flexibility with a fully remote work environment or a hybrid setup at our Austin, TX office, with travel requirements up to 20% for fieldwork and stakeholder engagement.
