About the role
The Modeling team at Quantcast is responsible for building and maintaining ML products that price millions of bid requests per second in a real-time auction environment. Our focus is on delivering measurable outcomes that maximize advertiser outcomes, including predicting characteristics like age, gender, viewability, fraud, and advertiser relevance.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and debug ML applications to build scalable real-time production systems.
- Run Machine Learning experiments to test new modeling ideas and write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality ML products and participate in code reviews.
- Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks to enhance system scalability.
- Stay updated with advancements in machine learning and distributed systems.
Requirements
- New Grad to 1 year of experience.
- Work authorization in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Fluency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Strong skills in mathematics and statistics.
- Working knowledge of ML algorithms such as classification, control systems, optimization, clustering, LLMs, or recommendation systems.
- Interest in distributed systems, software design, concurrent algorithms, data structures, and software engineering.
Qualifications
- Experience with distributed systems and software design.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
