Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the data scientists and data engineers to architect, build and support machine learning model training and deployment pipelines
• Implement continuous monitoring and evaluation systems that track model performance metrics
• Build machine learning infrastructure and productionize models
• Automate feature extraction and machine learning workflows
• Leverage third-party machine learning tools and infrastructure to develop reusable and high-performing machine learning systems
• Create development sandboxed environment
• Build and/or implement machine learning explainability tools
• Design, implement and maintain various deployment environments (Development, Staging, Production)
• Create feature stores to automate the input, tracking, and management of data into several machine learning models

Requirements

• Advanced degree in computer science, math, statistics, or a related degree
• Extensive knowledge of machine learning frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
• Ability to design and implement cloud-based solutions and scalable data pipelines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Coding and programming languages, including Python, R, SQL, Java, and Scala.
• Experience in Apache Spark and Databricks
• Experience with MLOps tools that support model versioning, experiment tracking, deployment, and production monitoring
• Experience in working with machine learning frameworks, libraries, and packages
• Experience building, deploying, and operationalizing Machine Learning models
