Machine Learning Engineer

About The Role We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to develop and maintain production systems that train, deploy, monitor, and retrain machine learning models. You will build training pipelines, package models for deployment, serve predictions via APIs and batch jobs, and ensure system reliability. Responsibilities include maintaining feature pipelines, monitoring drift and data quality, automating retraining, and preventing model degradation. Your collaboration involves productionizing models from other teams, creating clean interfaces between data, models, and products, and implementing versioning and governance artifacts. Qualifications & Skills Proficiency in Python and software engineering fundamentals, experience with ML frameworks, data pipelines, and model serving. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD, and monitoring systems. Experience translating prototypes into reliable production systems and handling sensitive data securely. Preferred skills include backend or data engineering, experience with feature stores at scale, and familiarity with healthcare data and PHI-aware systems.
