This role offers an opportunity to design, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models for production applications, collaborate with various teams, and contribute to the company's technical strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models for production applications
• Collaborate with engineers, researchers, product managers, and company leadership on ML initiatives
• Conduct experiments to improve model quality, accuracy, robustness, and scalability
• Partner with platform and infrastructure teams to operationalize and monitor ML systems
• Analyze model performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to technical strategy and ML system direction
• Review code, share knowledge, and mentor teammates
• Stay current on machine learning advances and apply new techniques

Requirements

• Experience conducting machine learning research and shipping production models
• Strong experience building and deploying production-grade ML systems
• Strong experience with Python and PyTorch
• Experience designing experiments and evaluating model performance
• Able to work across research and engineering disciplines
• Strong communication skills
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional environments

Nice to have

• Experience in audio models or speech systems (ASR, TTS, speaker modeling)
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Experience building large-scale ML infrastructure or MLOps systems
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments
• External research communication (papers, conferences, open-source)

Pay

$170,000–$200,000 (plus equity)
