About the role

The Filler Operator is responsible for operating Filling machines and making necessary adjustments to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner. They also monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles, troubleshoot and do minor repairs of filler equipment, and adjust empty bottle weights as needed. Communication with other departments, management, and employees is essential, along with ensuring all paperwork is filled out accurately and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The position adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicates effectively with all departments.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Filling machines and make necessary adjustments
  • Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on filler equipment
  • Adjust empty bottle weights as needed
  • Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees
  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format
  • Document all required information in accordance with SOPs
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Communicate effectively with all departments

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6 months related experience required
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Able to stand, walk, push or pull a majority of the day
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Able to work in a wet environment with some exposure to dust, gas or fumes
  • Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
  • Able to effectively work in a team environment
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Schedule

Monday - Friday 2 PM-10:30 PM and Saturdays as needed.

Pay

Up to $23.50 per hour

Qualifications

Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks)
