Machine Feeder Operator- 1st Shift 6:30am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Review work order or receive verbal instructions to determine ink, stock, and equipment needed for production.
• Absorb press setup assistance, including hanging of plates and blankets on press cylinders using hand tools.
• Supervise the supply of high-quality paper stock to the printing unit.
• Pour ink into printing unit reservoirs and maintain ink agitators.
• Remove loaded pallets of printed material from the stacking mechanism using a pallet jack and replace them with empty pallets.
• Occasionally assist with preventative maintenance duties.
• Pay close attention to small details throughout the process.
• Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
