This position
This position is a full-time permanent role located at American Games (504 34th Avenue, Council Bluffs, IA) with a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
About the role
This role supports the end-to-end assembly of specialized gaming products, including pull-tab vending machines, AccuCounters, and custom wire harnesses, in a manufacturing environment producing charitable and lottery gaming products.
Responsibilities
- Supports the end-to-end assembly of specialized gaming products, including pull-tab vending machines, AccuCounters, and custom wire harnesses.
- Supports the onboarding and development of less experienced team members by providing hands-on guidance and sharing best practices.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Electronics, Industrial Technology, or related technical field preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
- Skilled in using hand and power tools.
- Experience with electrical wiring and soldering techniques.
- Proficient with standard computer applications and able to learn new software tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities; capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Able to work well in a diverse environment.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (sponsorship is not available).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
