About the Role

Set up and operate one or more machines to cut and process screen frame material to specifications or cut and punch wood, metal, or glass materials. Direct personnel to assist in maximizing equipment efficiency. Adjust machines to produce parts within tolerance and maintain scrap at acceptable levels. Inspect the quality of parts for dimensional accuracy, camber, bow, and scratches. Perform quality checks using calipers, tape measures, or check gauges. Conduct tooling changeovers, change saw blades, and adjust the depth of cut as necessary. Enter production orders into the controller and lubricate machines and tooling per the preventative maintenance schedule. Perform all cleaning requirements to meet specifications and operate equipment within safety guidelines. Maintain all required documentation and train or assist personnel as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Essential reading and writing skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple correspondence and instructions.
• Ability to add and subtract in all units of measure using whole numbers.
• Ability to measure, read, and understand a tape measure.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $39,540 USD - $48,048 USD. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
