About the Role & Position Overview

As a highly skilled advisor you will combine creative and technical expertise with a passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in‑store experience that educates and delights customers. You will partner with a high‑performing team to create impact through in‑store events and ensure the store consistently achieves high standards of visual merchandising to stand out against competitors. The role is a freelance position staffed at The Estée Lauder Companies retail locations and employed through Randstad Sourceright.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, high‑quality customer service and beauty consultations to in‑store customers.
• Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor.
• Support and execute in‑store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement.
• Maintain active knowledge of brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to effectively educate customers.
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
• Availability to work flexible retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast‑paced environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (proof required upon hire/interview).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail or beauty industry experience.
• Familiarity with a retail sales environment and customer‑facing service execution.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The role requires regular standing and walking for extended periods on the retail sales floor, frequent reaching, bending, and moving merchandise weighing up to 25 lb, and regular conversation with customers while handling product packaging and display materials.

The work environment is a dynamic, fast‑paced retail store with standard lighting and ambient noise levels.

Pay

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $21.60 to $32.40, with the exact rate depending on experience, skills, education, budget, and geographic location.
