At Saint Alphonsus Health System, we are looking for passionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and high-quality care. The Women's Specialty Clinic is now hiring a part-time Medical Assistant to support our physician and provider team.
Position Summary & Highlights
This MA position supports our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr. Linsey Etherington, and Gynecologic Oncologist, Dr. Patrick Connor, and Polina Kokoulina, PA. The clinic offers a variety of services including breast surgery and reconstruction, wound healing, and genetic counseling. The position involves assisting with minor procedures, POCT testing, phlebotomy, and surgery scheduling.
What You Will Do
- Aid in minor procedures
- Perform POCT testing
- Conduct phlebotomy
- Support surgery scheduling
- Support providers in Oncology Genetics
Work Schedule
20 hours per week, primarily working on Mondays and Fridays, with some Thursdays. Flexibility with work days for PTO and other coverage needs. Hours are adjusted based on outreach needs.
Locations
- Boise Clinic: 900 N Liberty St. Ste. 101, Boise, Idaho 83704
- Outreach clinics: Every Friday in Nampa, Caldwell, Ontario, and Baker City
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required at hire
- MA certification required within 90 days from one of the approved agencies
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification required at hire
