Position Summary & Highlights
- Works with 1 Urgent Care Provider, Radiology Tech, and a Lead RN for support.
- Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, MA certification within 90 days from an approved agency.
- Experience: 1 year of MA experience, current MA certification, or obtain certification within 90 days from approved agencies.
- Certification: Must be certified from one of the following agencies: American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA), American Medical Technologists (RMA), National Healthcare Association (CCMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA), National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA), American Medical Certification Association (CMAC), National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE MA).
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification required.
What Will You Do
Work in a busy urgent care clinic setting. Perform primary MA duties, phlebotomy, administering immunizations, performing EKGs, and preparing injections. Set up and assist with minor procedures, complete POC and other tests, and complete tasks and orders in the task inbox. Ideal candidates should have previous experience in urgent care, family medicine, or internal medicine, be detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and reliable.
Work Schedule
36 hours per week, 3 - 12 hour shifts, Mondays - Saturdays. Week 1: Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Week 2: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Hours: 7:45am - 8:15pm. Work schedule may change based on provider's schedule and clinic needs.
